Trade Show visits & 1-2-1 advice for Kent companies – just 2 ways we can help you develop your export activities in 2018!
Visit an International Trade Show in Belgium with the ISE Project
We are organising 2 free trips to Belgian trade shows in February and March so that Kent companies can find out about market trends and meet with new business contacts in mainland Europe:
8-9 February - ‘MNE—The materials Transformation Show (MTMS) in Kortrijk (West Flanders), showcases products and trends in machinery, technology, materials, tooling and subcontracting. The event will provide valuable face to face networking opportunities with business contacts from Belgium, France and the Netherlands. Hear from renowned international speakers about disruptive innovation and visit an inspirational lighting company on day 2. 12-13 March - Tavola, a leading fine-food event attracting food retail, speciality outlets and catering organisations.  Tavola is one of the most attractive, premium quality food trade fairs in Europe. The ISE project will offer a 2 day visit to the show and visits to a food & drink sector company and centre of excellence in West Flanders. Book a 121 Innovation Assessment:
You can get an in-depth business review which will offer concrete recommendations about how to develop your international strategy as well as suggestions of potential contacts in mainland Europe. Free Coaching & Export Grants with Boost4Health 

Help for Kent Life Science Companies
Boost4Health offers free coaching with experts at the Department for International Trade and Enterprise Europe Network to help develop your international strategy as well as small grants to help make exporting easier.
Internationalisation Grants:
There are three types of grants available:
  • Travel vouchers of up to €500 to visit companies in one of Kent’s partner regions in North West Europe or to attend life science events and trade shows.
  • Up to €3000 to help with ‘market insight’ activities such as market research or help to identify potential customers in mainland Europe.
  • Up to €5000 towards ‘validation’ activities to help with getting your device approved for use in a European country or to contract an ‘in-market’ expert in one of our partner markets.

KEIBA Awards: Exporter of the Year

Put forward your business for Exporter of the Year
The Annual Kent Excellence in Business Awards (KEIBA) have begun and applicants can now enter for 2018. The exporter of the year category is open to any Kent businesses, across all sectors, that can demonstrate outstanding commercial performance of marketing its products/services outside of the UK. 
You could join previous winners Bedfont Scientific, HorizonScan and Cammegh in winning the prestigious accolade of Exporter of the Year!
