Innovative Sector Exchange (ISE) Project

 
ISE Cross-Border Events: Save the date!
  • 5 June: ISE Cross Border Innovation Conference in Belgium (free coach travel provided from Ashford)
  • 12 - 14 June: Market Visit to CEBIT, Hannover (very limited spaces available). 
1-2-1 Innovation Assessments: 
As well as attend cross border events you can also get in-depth business reviews which will offer concrete recommendations about how to develop your international strategy, as well as suggestions of potential contacts in Mainland Europe. The reviews are completely free and are available up until March 2019.  

Join a Cross Border Cluster: 
The project will also be inviting Kent businesses to join one of several cross-border clusters to bring together businesses and experts from the ISE project areas. The ISE clusters will focus on Food & Drink, Digital & Creative, Engineering & Manufacturing and New Materials. Why join? Connect with businesses in mainland Europe, attend international business events and receiving expert advice on a range of international trade topics.

Boost4Health Project       
Find out about Funding for Kent Life Science Businesses at Discovery Park, 2nd May!   

The event will explain about funding schemes available for Kent companies including Boost4Health and the Kent Life Science Fund. You can also book 1-2-1s to get advice on (limited number available): 
  • International markets: Department of International Trade (DIT)
  • Export Grants: Boost4Health Team
  • Financial and Tax advice: Kreston Reeves.

Three Boost4Health grants were recently awarded to Kent life Science businesses in March: 
  • 3,000 towards market research in Denmark. 
  • 5,000 towards usability tests in Belgium at Liege University Hospital
  • 5,000 towards product development, working with a company in North Brabant, Netherlands.

Funding is available for UK businesses towards travel, hotel accommodation and entrance fee (normally €160 plus VAT) for Eureka Innovation Days in Helsinki 22-24 May, 2018. 

EUREKA Innovation Days - “The power of collaboration” is an international conference which offers B2B matchmaking organised by Enterprise Europe Network & Innovate UK. The event offers: 
  • New insights into business and technology development within Smart Industries
  • Essential information, advice and international partners to help you get involved in future Eurostars projects & much more!
