DIT Support for Exporters Update
The Department for International Trade has contacted British businesses to outline the support it can offer at the moment to help ensure that exporting continues despite firms facing a number of new barriers and challenges currently.
There are some changes to export insurance companies can apply for, help dealing with customs authorities, advise on protecting intellectual property and help with business continuity.
The Kent-based International Trade Advisors have a wealth of experience and are able to make use of DIT’s overseas posts to help resolve country-specific issues.
At the moment, businesses are being encouraged by DIT to:
- Visit the Government’s Business Support website for more information about help available.
- Review government guidance for employees employers and businesses which is being updated regularly with the latest advice.
- Read government guidance for UK businesses trading internationally.
- Take the necessary steps to protect themselves and others.
