Kent International Business

KIB helps Kent companies to export and access overseas markets through information, advice and practical support.

What is KIB?

Kent International Business is a Kent-wide initiative which helps Kent companies to export and access overseas markets by providing information, advice and practical support. KIB is led by Kent County Council in partnership with the key export support organisations in the county.

If you’re thinking of developing or expanding your export activity, please click here to view our ‘Kent Export Pathway’ guide to getting started.

We have also recently run some bespoke projects to help Kent companies with export activity, although these have now come to an end, many useful resources were created and webinars held which can still be accessed below :

  1. Boost4Health – Connections to Life Science clusters in mainland Europe and micro-financing grants for Kent Life Science companies. Please click here to visit to the B4H website to find out more.
  2. SEED (South East Export Development) – a programme of virtual events trade missions to help companies from the SELEP area to make connections in key international markets. The focus is on the agri-food, Life Science and Digital & Creative sectors. Please click here to visit our SEED page to find out more.
  3. IMPULS – a project to help Life Science companies from North West France and SE England to connect and attend a series of virtual international business events. Please click here to visit our IMPULS page to find out more.
