‘SME COVID-19 Webinar Series’ for UK businesses

The Department for International Trade (DIT) in partnership with Newable, Enterprise Europe Network and J.P. Morgan, has launched the SME Coronavirus (COVID-19) Webinar Series.

These free webinars have been designed to support UK businesses to get help, protect their business and save jobs.

The webinars include the following:

  • 2 June, 10.00 – The Evolution of Global Markets & Consumer Trends
  • 4 June, 10.00 – Harness The Power of Social Media in Times of Crisis

Coronavirus (COVID-19): guidance for UK businesses trading internationally:

The government has produced a web page with key information for British businesses which export. It features information on current support available from DIT (Department for International Trade), supply chains, support available internationally, financial support and FCO advice on travel. Innovative Sector Exchange (ISE) Project Update

We’re currently working behind the scenes to plan activities for the rest of 2020. Although we’ll need to see what’s possible later in the year in terms of travel, we’re looking at some additional events for Kent’s agri-food businesses and the ISE Innovation Summit with keynote speakers from several global companies.

Enterprise Europe Network’s Latest Support Offer

Innovate UK and Enterprise Europe Network have just published guidance about their current offer to UK businesses. Their services are split between companies that they are already working with and those with high growth and innovation potential which could benefit from their different support schemes. These include advisory support services and continuity grants for existing clients.

Boost4Health Update

We’re working with Life Science Clusters in 6 European countries and we can use these links connect Kent companies to these networks.

We’ll let you know as soon as we are able to launch our travel grant scheme and event programme to help Kent-based Life Science companies with internationalisation. We’ll be offering a limited number of €500 travel grants as well as some small ‘travel+’ vouchers to help companies to kick off an international project.
